About Carbonform

Carbonform is a browser-based PDF form-filler operated by Chris Ilabaca, a UK sole trader. Contact: hello@carbonform.dev.

By using Carbonform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Account and acceptable use

You must be at least 18 years old to create a paid account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when registering.
• Keep your login credentials secure.
• Use Carbonform only for lawful purposes.
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.
• Not upload content that infringes third-party rights or contains malware.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Pricing and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly in GBP (British Pounds Sterling). Current prices:

• Pro: £9 per month per user.
• Team: £29 per month for 5 seats, plus £5 per month per additional seat.

Prices may change. We will give you at least 30 days notice of any price increase before it applies to your subscription.

VAT may be applied where required by law. Where VAT applies, it will be shown clearly at checkout.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged for the following period.

14-day cancellation right

Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your first subscription payment within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, email hello@carbonform.dev within 14 days of your first payment. We will refund the amount paid within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice.

Note: if you request immediate access to the paid service and then cancel within the 14-day window, we may deduct a proportionate amount for the service already provided.

Free plan limits

The free plan is available without a credit card and includes:

• 3 PDF fills per calendar month.
• Maximum file size of 5MB per PDF.
• A Carbonform watermark on all output PDFs.
• 1 user only.

The free plan is for personal use. Commercial use at scale requires a paid plan.

Service availability

We aim to keep Carbonform available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance, updates, or emergency fixes that cause temporary downtime. We will give reasonable notice of planned downtime where possible.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service with reasonable notice.

Data and privacy

Your use of Carbonform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. On the free plan demo, your PDFs never leave your browser. On paid plans, files are deleted from our servers within 24 hours.

Liability

Carbonform is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
• We are not responsible for the content of PDFs you process.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by UK law.

Intellectual property

Carbonform and its underlying software are owned by Chris Ilabaca. You retain all rights to any PDFs you upload or fill. We do not claim ownership of your documents.

Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. You may do so by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account. We may terminate if you breach these terms. On termination, your data will be deleted within 90 days per our privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Carbonform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
