The free demo runs entirely in your browser. Your PDF never leaves your device, no upload, no server. Pro and Team accounts use server-side processing for shared templates and audit logs only. Files are encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), and are auto-deleted after 24 hours. We never train AI models on your documents.

Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Cancel from your account settings in one click and your subscription ends at the next billing date. You will not be charged again.

Yes, Carbonform works on any modern browser including Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android. The fill-by-hand mode is touch-friendly. You can draw your signature with your finger.

Yes. Carbonform produces standard PDF signatures that meet the UK Electronic Communications Act 2000 and eIDAS regulations for simple electronic signatures, the same legal standing as a hand-drawn signature on a printed contract. For qualified or advanced signatures (rare in admin work), Adobe Sign or DocuSign remain the right tool.

Yes. Carbonform reads fillable fields automatically when they exist, but you can override any value before downloading. For static scans or PDFs without fillable fields, fill-by-hand mode lets you place text, ticks, dates, and signatures anywhere on the page and reposition them by dragging.

You keep them. We export your templates as a .json bundle that you can re-import into Carbonform later or use elsewhere. Saved PDFs you have already filled remain on your device. We do not hold templates hostage behind an active subscription.

All data is encrypted using TLS 1.3 in transit and AES-256 at rest. We are GDPR compliant, with UK and EU data residency available on Pro and Team plans. We do not train AI models on your documents.

The Team plan includes 5 seats and a shared template library, so your whole team can access the same PDF templates without setting them up twice. You can add more seats at £5 each per month.
